The Central Arizona College women's track and field team won eight events in Saturday's Arizona Relays at the CAC track, including two wins by Plaserae Johnson in the 100 meters (11.91 seconds) and the 200 (24.50).

Other winners for the Vaqueras were Adriana Woletz in the 800 (2:26.01), Zahira Jimenez in the 10,000 (38:53.47), Nacia Johnson in the long jump at 17-83⁄4 and Micah Dennis in the shot put at 43-13⁄4. The CAC women won the 4 x 100 relay in 47.66 and the 4 x 400 in 4:08.69.

The Vaqueras took six second places — Charmine Delotch in the 100 and 200, Bianca Burrell in the 400, Allison Denetchee in the 10,000, Nacia Johnson in the 100 hurdles and Dennis in the discus.

Finishing third for the CAC women were Prasanna Polite in the 100, Margaret Wilmot-Francis in the 800, Danielle Jones in the 10,000, Ashanna Hodge in the 100 hurdles, Nacia Johnson in the high jump, Damara Walker in the long jump, Amber Rodriguez in the javelin and Delotch in the shot put.
