Central Arizona College Cross Country continued to solidify its 2025-26 roster by signing 3 local prep athletes.

Justin and Gabrial Escanuela from Poston Butte and Micah Peynado from Cibola will be joining the Vaqueros in the fall. "I am happy that Justin, Gabrial, and Micah all decided on committing to CAC."  Stated Head Coach Jon Harmon.  "They will be assets and will challenge for a top 7 roster spot right away."

Justin and Gabrial are twin brothers of CAC alumni Andrew Escanuela; Justin's personal bests are: 5k-16:14, 3200m-9:42, 1600m-4:27. Gabrial's personal bests are 5k-16:04, 3200m-9:28, 1600m-4:20.  Justin was 18th at the 2024 D3 State Cross Country Championship and Gabrial was 50th, respectively.

Micah comes from a traditionally strong distance program in Cibola; his personal bests are: 5k-16:22, 1600m-4:21, 800-1:57.  Micah was 41st at the 2024 D1 State Cross Country Championship, respectively.
