Central Arizona College Alumni Emmanuel "Ray" Wells qualified for the 2025 World Indoor Championships for The United States in the 60 Meter Dash.

Wells, from Seattle, Washington, competed for Central Arizona Track from 2016-2018 seasons.  During his time at CAC, he earned All-American status in the 100 meter and 200 meter races, respectively.  Wells earned his AA degree in Business and Communication from CAC before transferring to Washington State University.  During his tenure at Washington State (2018-2021 Wells was a Pac-12 All American in the 100 and 200 meter runs.  He graduated with a BA in Psychology and a BA in Humanities.  Wells would set his sights on the professional circuit which he currently competes presently.
