Congratulations to sophomore left-handed pitcher Marcus Metz on being named a First Team NJCAA Division I All-American for his outstanding efforts during the 2026 season.

Metz was dominant all season for the Vaqueros, picking up 10 wins while striking out 106 batters and posting a 2.33 ERA in 77.1 innings pitched.

Congratulations again to Marcus on his incredible accomplishments during the 2026 season. Metz has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Oklahoma State University, a member of the Big 12 Conference, where he will join former Vaquero Kai Fyke.

We wish Marcus the best of luck as he takes the next step in his baseball career.
